Liverpool One Bus Station occupies a position on Canning Place in central Liverpool, close to the Liverpool One shopping centre and within easy reach of Lord Street. The station was originally known as the Paradise Street Interchange, taking its name from its earlier location on Paradise Street. Rebuilt in November 2005 as part of the wider Paradise Street redevelopment, it was rebranded under its current name in September 2009.
Services and Operators
The station handles both local and long-distance coach services. National Express coaches depart and arrive at stands 1 and 2, while stand 6 is used by Megabus and FlixBus. National Express moved its operations here in 2016, relocating from the former Liverpool Coach Station on Norton Street. All ticket bookings and coach travel information are now handled through the Travel Centre on site, which also sells multi-journey tickets.
Layout and Facilities
There are ten bays within the station alongside a crew depot. Each stand has an electronic departure board showing timetabled information, though these are not real-time displays. The Travel Centre is the central point for passengers needing journey planning support or purchasing tickets for onward travel.
